Ang Alkyl nitrites o 'poppers' ay short-lasting drugs na nagdudulot ng headrush at muscle relaxation.
Alkyl nitrites, kilala rin bilang 'poppers', ay short-lasting drugs na nagdudulot ng headrush at muscle relaxation. Lumalitaw sila bilang liquids na gumagawa ng vapour na maaaring inhaled. Ang first, amyl nitrite, ay ginawa noong 1844 at ginamit upang makatulong na i-relieve ang angina (chest pains).
Widespread recreational use ng amyl nitrite ay thought na nag-start sa 1960s. Pagkatapos ng consequent restrictions sa production at use, various other related alkyl nitrites ay lumitaw. Poppers ay usually found sa form ng liquid chemical na ibinebenta sa small bottle.

Dosis at tagal
Alkyl Nitrites ay para sa inhalation lang. Ang most common method ng use ay pag-hold ng open bottle malapit sa nostril (hindi against ang skin) at inhale ng vapour para sa maximum ng 5 segundos. Poppers ay FATAL kung kinain - Drinking WILL result sa COMA o DEATH.
